The Yonder feeder community

Your receiver.
A bigger sky.

Share the aircraft your antenna can see. Help fill gaps in the map, improve local coverage, and bring more of the sky to everyone on Yonder.

Already feeding another network? You’re halfway there.

Your receiver can send to Yonder alongside your existing feeds. Keep those connections in place and add ours. Share observations from your own antenna.

A receiver + antenna

A 1090 MHz ADS-B receiver, such as an RTL-SDR, with an antenna and a view of the sky.

A small computer

A Raspberry Pi or Linux computer running readsb, Ultrafeeder or compatible feeder software.

An internet connection

An outbound connection to our server. No inbound router port forwarding needed.

Get connected

Three steps to feed Yonder.

  1. Create a station ID

Generate a UUID for this receiver and save it. On Linux, run the command below. On macOS use uuidgen; on Windows PowerShell use [guid]::NewGuid(). Replace YOUR-STATION-UUID in the configuration with that ID.

    cat /proc/sys/kernel/random/uuid
  2. Add Yonder to your feeder

For Docker Ultrafeeder, append this entry to your existing ULTRAFEEDER_CONFIG, separating entries with a semicolon. Keep your existing entries, then recreate the container using your usual Docker Compose setup.

    adsb,feed.skystackaviation.com,30004,beast_reduce_plus_out,uuid=YOUR-STATION-UUID

For standalone readsb, append this connector to its existing network options and restart readsb using your installation’s service manager.

    --net-connector=feed.skystackaviation.com,30004,beast_reduce_plus_out,uuid=YOUR-STATION-UUID

Endpoint: feed.skystackaviation.com:30004 · Beast TCP. This is a receiver connection, not a website. Don’t put passwords or API keys in the station ID.

Using ADSB.im or another managed image? Use its custom feed configuration if available, or send us your software details for setup help. Don’t install a second decoder that competes for the same USB receiver.

  3. Claim your lifetime Premium

Email us your station UUID, town/country, receiver software and the email address on your Yonder account. We’ll verify incoming data, link the station to your account and activate your lifetime Premium subscription.

More than ADS-B.

We also accept UAT, MLAT, ACARS, VDL2, HFDL, Inmarsat, Iridium and ATC audio contributions. Each needs compatible receiver hardware and software. Radio messages and audio use dedicated station credentials.

Tell us what you’d like to feed

How do I know it’s working?

Check your feeder logs for a connection to our endpoint. Aircraft near your receiver should appear in your local decoder. We’ll confirm that your station is reaching Yonder when you register.

What should I share?

Your own receiver’s observations. Don’t forward purchased data, another network’s aggregate feed or MLAT results from another provider. Keep your original feeds running.
